Dead Sun Height Comparison

At the start of the year me and 2 other guys participated in a local game jam where we created a 2D top-down space shooter Smash Bros-inspired game over the course of the weekend. We didn't win any prizes, but that didn't stop us from wanting to continue developing our game. Being the sole artist on the project means I've got a lot of freedom when it comes to designing and creating characters. Speaking of which, it was my idea to attach actual characters to the space ships you'll be piloting.

With the game being part space shooter, I thought about designing characters around the astrological signs from different cultures. This not only gives me a plethora of influences to work with but also helps give the game a much more grand scale. Of course, Mist (the Aquarius/Virgo character) was fitted into this game and not the other way around. I'm not sure whether she'll represent Aquarius, Virgo, or both. Personality-wise, she could be either, but her connection to the Gemini character places her squarely as a Virgo. There are 8 playable characters planned so there's always the possibility of having her represent both signs if I remain undecided. We'll see.
