Jack - Knife Strike

Well, this'll probably be the last animation I post from my game project for a while. At the very least, here's someone other than Lilith - the third playable character, Jack Straw! As usual, this animation (based on Nanaya's 5C if that much wasn't apparent) has a few hiccups, but unlike the last time, the frame rate is more-or-less what it should actually be. Personally, I think I need another frame right after the character draws their knife and before slashing forward. This is meant to be a basic attack meant to open combos or the opening to a super move - the huge recovery time at the end is meant to show the risk involved should be the move be parried. In the case where another move is chained from this one, though, this attack's animation would end at the initial stabbing point. I'm sure you've all seen super moves of this sort in fighting games so you should know how this works.

But enough about the technical stuff, here's some backstory: 

Jack Straw is the name given by police to an infamous serial killer that lurks the streets who picks their victims indiscriminitely. The methods employed are always horrific, with the bodies (of those that are actually found) mutilitated or contorted in all sorts of grotesque positions with vital organs and body parts often missing. Other than this, almost nothing is known about this murderer: not their gender, not their motives, not even if they are even human. Although with regards to that last query, there are many who would say that one who commits such violent acts could only be considered as a demon.
