I almost didn't wind up doing this. I think I've reached the limit of my patience when it comes to drawing with a mouse.
There may be a smaller quantity of characters this time around (not to mention colors) but I've made sure that the quality has not suffered. In fact, this is the one time where I deliberately tried to incorporate a "creepy but cute" style, the name that you guys gave my way of drawing. Considering I started drawing this around Halloween then took a break until now, a mere week before Christmas, I can't think of a more appropriate image to represent this style. So enjoy your late treat and early gift
As an added treat, I've decided to provide some samples that chronicle the creation of this latest entry in my OC All-Stars series:
Every digital drawing in my gallery up to this point was done with a mouse, but I'm done with that. Soon, I will know the blissful joy of drawing with an interactive pen display
I know, I've tried to draw with tablets before and absolutely hated it. For someone who has done traditional drawings for 2/3 of his life, I've grown far too accustomed to drawing with my canvas and drawing instrument constantly being in my line of sight. That's why when I first laid my eyes on an interactive pen display a few years back I knew, right then and there, ONE DAY I WOULD MAKE THIS MINE. Oh yes, the glorious day approaches.
Oh lala!!! ses telement bien fait 8D!!! j'adoreeeuh!! *w*!!!! serieux! j'aime comment tu a dessiner ton Oc !! et Sapphire biensur xD!! !!! >3< merci ses vraiment beau
The best thing about this is, you drew this with a MOUSE!
I got my first tablet about 3 months ago, and it felt really weird trying to draw with it. You actually have to learn how to use it first, haha.
It should really only take about a week to a month to get comfortable with it though. ^^
Indeed when the day comes...
The world will be changed for the better.
